Broken screen

I have a Vankyo tablet that I really like.Unfortunately, my granddaughter dropped it and now the screen is cracked and unresponsive. Is there any way I can get the tablet to power off? I'm sure it would cost too much to fix it I just want to be able to remove my information from the tablet and reset it to factory settings. I tried to press the power button but the tablet just keeps rebooting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
