Smart sleep mode for matrixpad s8

I have a recently purchased s8 with a folding folio case.

When I close the cover on the case, the tablet doesn't enter my sleep mode.

The case was specifically designed for use with the S8 tablet.

How do I resolve this issue.

The matrixpad s8 doesn't support the featuer of sleep mode.
