Leisure 470 wireless screen mirroring from android - audio stutter

Hi,

I have a projector Leisure 470.

When I mirror screen over wifi from Android phone (Samsung A40), the sound stutters.

When I mirror screen from Windows 10 PC, the video freezes after several minutes.

How can I troubleshoot the problem?

The projector's menus suggest, its firmware can be updated. Is it possible that the issue has been addressed in some update?

Thanks in advance.

  • Okay, after playing quite a bit with Windows wireless projector connection, I have following observations:

    • windows gets confused if there are many audio devices connected. Previously I had a USB microphone connected, and it somehow caused poor wireless screen sharing experience. My assumption is that it somehow influences a set of available audio codecs and bit rates available for use in the system. When I disconnected everything (wireless headphones, USB audio device) from my laptop, I could use the wirelessly attached projector for several hours without major issues.
    • Mouse cursor is not visible if you use the projector as a screen extension. Workaround is: turn on mouse cursor shadow, you will never lose the mouse cursor again.
    • looks like the wirelessly attached second screen gets no graphics acceleration, so it is not usable for most of gaming. Youtube and videos is ok, slide sharing and cartoons are excellent.

No luck with android phone so far, it does not let me fine tune the connection / screen sharing properties.

  • I have forwarded this issue to our tech department for further investigation. If the issue still exists, please feel free to contact VANKYO's customer service team : support@ivankyo.com

  • Hello, thank you for your question.

Regarding to leisure 470 screen mirroring affecting on the sound quality: With a normal network speed, the intermittent crash won’t occur to the projector when connected to Android system or PC. It may on account of the unstable network.

Please check your network environment, such as testing the sound quality when connected to mobile device or to computer. If connected to computer, please also try to use the HDMI interface to test the sound effect when screen mirroring.

Instead of upgrading your firmware to solve the problem, you may firstly test the sound effects under different network environments.

    Thanks for posting!
