Windows 10 laptop doesn't see files on S30 internal storage

When I connect my S30 to my Windows 10 laptop, a Windows Explorer window opens automatically, but doesn't show any files in the internal storage. (The laptop sees internal storage AND SD card on my Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone.) Is there a setting on one or both of the devices that I need to change in order to see the internal storage files?

    Thank you. I made the decision to do a factory reset and go through the setup process again. I must have done something wrong the first time, because everything is now working as expected. I can see the internal memory and the SD card when I connect the S30 with my PC.
