movie on USB stick

I have just purchased a leisure 470. I tried inserting aUSB stick with several movies loaded onto it. When I open it I can see the movies but when I try to play over it says "video frame rate n" with a warning symbol showing. I then tried hitting the play button and after it tried loading it said "all files unsupported". My USB stick is formatted in fat32 and my files are in mp4 format around 1gb in size. I have searched the forums and the web and found no answer to this. Is anyone able to help me figure out how to get a movie to play from a USB stick.

  • The mp4 file should be in h2.64 format. If the file is in h2.65 format, it does not work.

  • I am having the same issue and cannot resolve it... three separate videos on a USB stick, all encoded in H.264, with different resolutions:

    Movie 1: 1920x1040 (plays)

Movie 2: 720x460 (doesn't play, error message on screen)

Movie 3: 592x336 (doesn't play, error message on screen)

Is there a minimum resolution required to play via USB or SD card? Any help is appreciated!

  • The L470 is 720p, but supports up to 1080p decoding. When the video is larger than 1080p, it will be automatically decoded to 720p for playback. If it is smaller than 720p, it will be played as 720p.
