Audio output on Vankyo

I finally figured out to send my iPhone signal to my Vankyo Leisure 470. Must use lightning to HDMI adapter. USB and Wifi signals do NOT work. However, I want a louder audio signal. I bought an audio jack male to male wire 3.5MM and ran it from my bose speaker to the Projector and the signal is not transferring. Anyone able to successfully split the video and audio signals?

    hey, leisure 470 can connect with bose speaker. please insert the speaker to the audio port

    do you mean that even if you have connected your speaker through audio port, the audio signal were still not transferred?
